I use these lights for camping. I wrap them around the strings that people might trip on at night and light up the entrance to my tent . I wanted a long string, 12 meters is enough for my guy strings and to light up my " Front Porch" very nicely.Warm white is a true description of the color. Some cheap LED's are very blue, not these ones they give of a very nice calm warm light. The best thing about these lights is that they are extremely well made. I was very surprised how "heavy duty" they seem, and I have never seen such good weatherproofing on on this type of lights before. I buy a lot of these, they are inexpensive, useful, and in the past, somewhat disposable. I think this set will last much longer than any other set I have had. The battery box for example is built like a Pelican case with silicone seals, heavy duty latches and hinges. I tried to show this in the picture I included. I can't imagine this battery box leaking or getting damaged despite the abuse I throw at these. The wires are also very thick and seem more heavily insulated than what I am used to. The wires are also quite supple and feel easier to untangle than usual. The one button that controls the mode of lighting on the battery box is also silicone and feels durable but is easy to use. I also appreciate that the flashing patterns that are listed in order on the battery box are readable!I don't really like flashing lights, so I mostly just use mode #8 Steady on, but #4 Slo glo, #6 Slow fade, are very relaxing. Even #7 Twinkle/Flash is nice because the pattern is so fast it smoothes out and is not jarring or unpleasant. I'll leave the other modes to those of you who prefer nightclubs or Las Vegas style lighting. On last nice thing about these lights is there is a hanging loop on the battery box which is very convenient. Overall I am very happy with this well made and much sturdier than i anticipated set of lights.I also appreciate that the
