I’ve had these for over 2 weeks and they are exactly what I wanted. The light is relatively bright once it turns on and doesn’t begin to fade for many hours. The picture shows how bright they are after being on all night. The sky shows the beginning of dawn which, at this time of year, is about 9 hours after the sun fully goes down. Keep in mind, my fence posts are in full sun all day. They were easy to install, however I work with tools every day. The distance between the screws must be pretty accurate to the template. A mounting plate would have been a better option, but I suspect that would increase the price. Here is a tip if you miss the mark and need to move one of the screws just a little bit; Remove the screw that must be moved, fill the hole with a toothpick or small skewer, break it off flush with the mounting surface, and then restart the screw on the side of the toothpick. This will move the screw about half a hole over.Another concern with mounting is how close the screw heads must be turned to ensure a tight fit to the structure you mount the lights. It takes a bit of trial and error to get it right, but you CAN get a pretty secure mount.I have tried the different colors just to make sure they worked, but I leave them on the warm light. I don’t know how the colored lights last. I’ll update later if I have any difficulties in the future.
