I have a bunch of the mr. beams lights outside and inside (closets, basement). They work great, last a really long time, are easy to use, look good,...I could go on. This solar light gets enough light during the day to light up our parking area in our back alley at night. It is quite sensitive and will light up if it’s windy and picks up movement from plants/tree branches though.FYI.I found this product easy to install by myself. In the glow mode it projects enough light to see adequately and when there’s motion it lights up bright to deter trespassing. The sensor does pick up animal movement as well. Great product!That tiny switch is SO hard to set. So it's hard to move, but you have to "feel" the positions. However, after several 'false starts" we finally got all four in the same setting. Been working perfectly for over 3months now.I bought this for my yard and simply love it. I have now removed my high voltage electric floodlight and I will be buying two more to supplement the additional brightness I need when motion is detected. I am very happy to have purchased this light. It was very easy to install on to the vinyl siding. Works fine has a decent sensor. I wish it was a bit more brighter but again with a solar-powered light you cannot get the same lumens as an electric light. I will be installing two more of these lights to get a wider swath of land covered.This light works wonder - the motion sensor is sensitive and leaving our driveway well lit! Plan to purchase another one for our backyard.Simple to use and install. Best answer yet for cordless lighting. IBought 20 units in three sizes; all good.Mounted on gate to backyard in between my garage and the garage of the townhome next door. Its the area where we keep our trash receptacles. Lights up my side and theirs! I have it set to always be on after sunset but at a lower level of brightness. Any motion causes it to pop on to a much brighter level. Even when I pass by in car pulling into driveway! Very happy with the purchase.camp
