I think most of the other reviewer have got a good handle on this item. I have a couple of lights that stopped working and it wasn't the batteries, because I tested them. So, I decided to see how these replacement solar panels would work. They do, but, like others I found the wire leads from the panel to be a little short and difficult to deal with. It works and you can strip the line and hook it up to replace the faulty panel but it's not easy because the wire ends are so short. It would have been much easier if they had already stripped them. Mating them up to the light wires requires you either use heat shrink, electrical tape or wire nuts and once more, for the cost of these, they should have included something.I hate throwing things out when they can be fixed and if you're that sort of person, then these make sense. However, for the cost and the amount of time you'll need to effect repairs, it's probably easier to toss the broken lights and just buy new ones which can be had for a little more than these solar replacement parts.
