Received this product had all hardware, no problem came with different fence size adaptors. My fence post 5" x 5" with their adaptor it fits although not snug there is about 1/4 inch of play but once screwed to fence post it's cool. The only downside I see of this is the top cap piece is a little loose when attached they should have made it a tighter locking fit kind of set up. If someone is to grab it to open the gate it does move easily in your hand. Simple set up I bought 8 probably takes about 40 minutes and your done. Lot up after a few hours of sunlight every light. Nice brightness. So far so good. Also what I like you can buy a new rechargeable battery if needed without any issue. These are bright enough to illuminate the area around my steps without creating glare when I'm using my patio. I do wish they were a warm rather than blue light, but they're fine. The package came with everything necessary to install, and installation was easy.Very nice post lights! The pic was taken before dark, you can see they fit on a 4 inch vinyl post perfectly. The light is more a glow then lighting to see at night. They are not as bright as my old ones. They look very nice, not as bright as I thought they would be. Also, I put them on top of posts for a hand railing ,the bases are solidly screwed in to post but the top part is a little too loose ,any slight touch loosens the cap. Other than that overall pretty satisfiedThe lights were easy to place on post, they are not as bright as I would have thought but that is attributed to the hood that cover the light. I like the various mounting options for different size post and they fit the 3.5" post perfect. all in all I am very satisfied and highly recommend them, Burnt all night long.I’ve had these lights for 3 years. The first year they were gorgeous! However, they discolored quickly from bright white to yellow. As other reviews have noted, the discoloration is a stark difference sitting atop the bright white porch post vinyl covering. Still, when it matters the most (at night), I didn’t let that be enough to write a bad post. By year 2, the battery contacts need constant hand-holding to ensure the two little lights remain as bright as possible. By hand holding I mean opening the top and turning the battery. Yes - I’m obsessive in also cleaning the contacts. Now- year three - I have two caps that aren’t working at all. I’ve tried everything. Replacement caps would be fine, but no such thing exists. So my decision point now is to scrap my entire 10 (remove the entire receptacle form each post) starting over. I’d almost be ‘ok’ with two new entire sets, but the difference in color to the others would be glaring. I’m glad now I did not permanently screw these onto my posts, rather I used two sided tape which has worked well over 3 years through 4 distinct seasons in Ohio. My photo shows a beautiful scene - but they are a pain in the neck over time!UPDATE: My Dad helped me repair my two inoperable tops by soldering the wire connectors that had become corroded inside the units. Lesson learned for me is to remove the tops every winter, and somehow cover each base for protection . Going to try that for a few years to see if I can extend the investment. My dad also indicated he will paint them white to cover the discoloration.very good except the're not the size of a standard postLevel of lighting is more general - to clean up or put cover on - not enough light to actually cook. Great lighting for sitting out on the deck at night. Light is a bit “whiter “ than desirable for sitting out .Summer was ok, with average run time of 3-4 hrs but winter was horrible and 2 stopped workingChange of plans so I returned this product. I have not received confirmation of the return.not recommendable
