I like the fairy lights with remotes a lot better. To much trouble to turn these on and off.I wanted warm white but these are very bright white. Nothing like the photo.It came with four sets of lights. Three worked and are nice, the fourths battery compartment was damaged.I used these for a graduation decoration idea. Turned out nice. I used velcro to stick the battery pack to the top of the jar lid and lit them up for the party. They stayed lit and looked pretty all night. There is no remote or timer. Just an on off switch. They are a little hard to open to put batteries in. I had to use a small screwdriver to get one open. Other than that the worked great and served their purpose.Output roughly equivalent to 2 or 3 times an LED nightlight with fresh batteries (3 AA). Remains bright (gold colored) for about 10 hours then brightness slowly fades but remains illuminated for at least 24 hours (with inexpensive rechargeable batteries). Makes a nice decoration. One strand looks good inside an empty whiskey bottle. All four of the strands in my box worked as advertised.I liked this product. It's valuable for this price. There are 4 of them in a package and you need to use 3 AAA batteries for each string.Like that it was battery operated
